Wanderlust World Photo Tour

This year is the year of big dreams. For me, that means seeing places I’ve never seen and experiencing cultures I’ve never experienced. I’ve always wanted to travel the world. It’s been a dream of mine for many years. In my life, I’ve been to a lot of different places throughout the United States, including Utah, Colorado, California, Key West, Nebraska – just to name a few. My adventures outside of the U.S., however, are limited to Okinawa, Japan and various islands in the Bahamas.

Visiting Japan was an eye opening and life-changing experience. The beauty of Okinawa is unparalleled. The people there are so wonderfully sweet and humble. I never once felt like an outsider while out shopping, dining or just out exploring and being a goofy tourist.

I love to scuba dive and I’ve never in my life seen such remarkable beauty beneath the water. At the time, I didn’t have a camera with an underwater housing, so I was unable to capture all of the exotic sea life just teaming around me. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such beautiful beaches in my life! Those memories are some that I will treasure always. In the Bahamas, it was much the same; more gorgeous water, beaches and sea life. And the people of the Bahamas seem to live a life of relaxed contentment.

When I think about these experiences, I remember how different our world’s cultures are and it makes me crave seeing, hearing, tasting and exploring so much more. So this year is MY YEAR to give into my wanderlust and go have some awesome adventures! My first BIG trip will be to Australia. A 26 hour (or longer) travel day will bring me to the other side of the planet and I’ll embark on a dream photo tour that will, I’m sure, be completely life changing. And I cannot wait.

I hope that you’ll follow along with me as I go on my adventures exploring this amazingly beautiful, diverse planet of ours. 2017 (1).png
